CALL OF THE DEAD

TRAILER | PRINT

Call of the Dead was a new zombie level packed with Horror stars like Robert Englund, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Danny Trejo and Michael Rooker, but it was true ode to George A. Romero zombie films. We were inspired by grindhouse movie design, leading us to cut a game-footage trailer that evoked the same darkroom aesthetic and gritty tone of that genre. The limited edition, one-sheet, poster complimented the trailer and went out to select influencers. It wasn’t long until the posters started showing up on Ebay for $250 a pop. These days you can get one for $150 now, if you can find an original. What made the poster so special was the insane detail I put into the printing process. Irridescent silver paper that gave the highlights and eery shine. Embossed and triple-glossed varnish on the blood splattered type. The cherry on top was the Glow-in-the-dark paint that transformed the headline and the billing block into a secret message. (see below).
