Taco Bell wanted to talk about the re-invention of their iconic Chalupa into the Triplelupa; A nonsensical evolution that combined 3 chalupas into one. In the spirit of re-invention we looked to social media and TikTok creators of all ages and walks of life that have re-invented themselves on the platform. Instead of parodying the platform and it’s users, we partnered with TikTok, leveraging their UI, music and influencers to create TikToks FIRST-EVER National, co-branded TV campaign. In staying true with the platform, we filmed 99% of the commercial on an iPhone in vertical format through the app itself.
